Orlando

Saydie and I just returned from our trip to Orlando with her dance team. We had so much fun! I got a new camera for my birthday, just before we left so it was a lot of fun to take pictures and try it out! Chris is still serving in North Salt Lake until his Visa goes through, hopefully that will happen soon. McKayla is graduating from high school this week!!

Salt Lake North Mission!!

I got to talk to Chris today!! Twice in one month, I am feeling very privileged! He called to tell us he is being sent to the Salt Lake North Mission until they are able to get their Visa's through. So 3 weeks maybe more. He is pretty excited to get out and proselyte. He sounds really good, staying positive and staying focused. It was just really good to talk to him!

What's this all about?

Well hello and good morning! I decided to check out what all the hipe is about blogging and decided to give it a go! Since I have one child now on a mission and one just about to graduate and go off to college. I thought this would be a good way to document events as well as keep everyone updated!
So for the first update: Chris is still in the MTC. He was supposed to leave for Mexico on Monday but the Consulate is not getting the Visa's through. So pray for the consulate and that Chris will not have to spend too much more time in the MTC!

Parker is out of the hospital!!!! Yeah! We are so glad that Parker was finally able to come home. The diagnosis is still Primary Pulmonary Hypertension, so my sister and her family have a long road to travel with a lot of ups and downs I am sure. But for now, he is home and we are celebrating!!!

We attended an open house at BYU (the only cool school!!) yesterday for McKayla. She is a little overwhelmed and I must admit, we are too, but also excited for the new adventure ahead of her. We just have to keep reminding her that she is not going there to find a husband!!!! (At least not yet!!)
